Internet Society Local Community Advocacy Dialogue: Strengthening Our Collective Voice for the Internet

Held on the eve of the Internet Society Europe Community Advocacy Workshop and ahead of Global Encryption Day 2026, this Dialogue brings together community members, partners, fellows, and Internet advocates to share experiences, strengthen our collective voice, and explore how community-led advocacy can advance an open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy Internet.

This interactive session will focus on the role of encryption in protecting Internet users, strengthening trust online, and supporting a secure digital future. Participants will also have the opportunity to join an Ask Me Anything (AMA) with Internet Society President and CEO Sally Wentworth, Head of Global Advocacy and Internet Policy Raegan MacDonald, Senior Director for European Government and Regulatory Affairs David Frautschy, and other Internet Society staff, exploring current Internet policy issues, community-led advocacy opportunities, and practical ways to strengthen our collective voice for the Internet.
